Ingredients
Cookies
300 plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
230g butter room temperature
200g Caster Sugar
1 egg room temperature
2 tsp vanilla extract
Icing
1 cup icing sugar (sieved)
2-3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to fan 180°
Cream butter and sugar with a hand mixer.
Add rest of ingredients and mix until combined. You can use your hands as the dough gets thicker.
Roll out on to a floured surface and cut out using cookie cutters.
Bake on 180° for approx 13-15 mins or until golden
For the icing
In a bowl mix icing sugar and milk with a teaspoon until combined.
Dip the top of the cookie into the icing mixture or spread with a spoon.
Decorate with brown and red sprinkles for eyes and nose and melted chocolate for the antlers.
